Personal data
Arthur Renard, publisher of the site, is the data controller for the data collected on this site.
What is collected
- When you make a purchase: your e-mail address, your name, your country and the details of your order.
- Your bank details are entered on the Stripe payment page or in its form displayed on the site, or transmitted to Stripe by Apple Pay or Google Pay. Mavena never has access to them.
- When you write to us: your e-mail address and the content of your message.
- When you describe your project on the project page: the offer you are interested in, the description of your project, the link to your website or account if you give it, and your e-mail address. They reach us by e-mail, so that we can reply to you; the site does not keep them.
- When you ask to receive by e-mail the link to a page of the site: the e-mail address you give. It is used for this single message and is not kept.
- When you ask to receive the step-by-step guide, or the free sheet of the business page, by e-mail: the e-mail address you give, the page you were looking at and the language of the site. Your address is kept in order to send you the guide or the sheet, a reminder two days later, then Mavena's news.
- When you join the affiliate program: your e-mail address, your affiliate link, the number of clicks and sales it has brought, your earnings and the movements of your balance. Nothing is recorded there about the people who bought. If you request a bank transfer, the name and the IBAN you send us by e-mail.
- During your visit: the technical data recorded by the hosting provider, including your IP address.
What it is used for
- To deliver your prompts to you and answer your requests (performance of the contract).
- To reply to your project request and tell you what we can do for you (pre-contractual steps taken at your request).
- To keep the account of each affiliate and pay them their earnings (performance of the affiliate program).
- To inform you by e-mail, after a purchase, of new prompts and Mavena offers. You can object to this at any time, through the link included in each of these messages (legitimate interest).
- To send you the step-by-step guide or the sheet you asked for, a reminder, then Mavena's news, as stated under the form at the moment you leave your address (your consent). You can withdraw it at any time, through the link included in each of these messages: your address is then erased.
- To keep the accounts and the invoices (legal obligation).
- To protect the site and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
- To know, in aggregate, who buys on the site: for example the share of men and women, estimated from first names. These statistics are not linked to any person (legitimate interest).
Your data is neither sold nor rented. The only commercial messages you may receive are those from Mavena, after a purchase or after asking for the guide or the sheet; each one contains a link to stop receiving them.
Who has access to it
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland), for payment.
- Resend, Inc. (United States), for sending the delivery e-mail and, if you request it, the e-mail containing the link to a page, the guide or the sheet, and your project request.
- Vercel Inc. (United States), for hosting.
- Upstash, Inc. (United States), where the traffic figures are stored, which contain no name, no e-mail address and no IP address, as well as the affiliate program accounts and the e-mail addresses left to receive the guide or the sheet.
When these service providers process data outside the European Union, the transfer is governed by the safeguards provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decision).
For how long
- Order and billing data is kept for ten years, the period required by law for accounting records.
- E-mail exchanges, project requests included, are kept for three years after the last message.
- The e-mail address left to receive the guide or the sheet is kept until you unsubscribe, and at most three years after the last e-mail we sent you.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing or its portability, and object to its processing, by writing to hello@mavena.app. A reply is given to you within one month. If it does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies. The only cookies that may be set are the following; none contains an identifier that follows you from one site to another:
- when versions of the site are being compared, one cookie per comparison remembers which one is shown to you (a single letter), so that you see the same one from one page to the next. It is deleted after sixty days;
- when you arrive through the link of an affiliate, a cookie remembers the code of that affiliate for thirty days, so that they receive their commission if you buy. It is not set if your browser signals a refusal of tracking;
- when you sign in to your affiliate space, a cookie keeps your session open for thirty days.
The payment page is provided by Stripe, which uses its own cookies, necessary for payment and for fighting fraud.
On the offer page, the Apple Pay or Google Pay button is displayed by Stripe: when it is offered, Stripe is loaded there and may set these same cookies there. The same applies when payment is made on the site, in Stripe's form.
Audience measurement
Mavena counts its visits with an in-house tool, which does not identify you and uses no cookie to track you. The following are recorded: the pages viewed, the clicks on buttons, the answers to the questions asked before the purchase, the version of the site shown, the type of device, the country and the site you come from. On the offer page, the offers displayed on your screen, the offer you choose and the scrolling of the page are also recorded. Your IP address is not kept, no profile is built and these figures are not passed on to anyone. The details of the visits are deleted after three months.
If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, your visit is not counted.
